What is TempoTunes?
TempoTunes builds music playlists by tempo. Choose a BPM and your favorite genres — optionally leaning the mix toward artists you love — and it assembles a playlist that holds the pace, drawing on a database of over 600,000 tracks with verified BPM data.
Do I need a Spotify account?
No. You can create an account with just an email address (or Google sign-in) and build playlists from our own tempo database. Connecting Spotify is optional — it lets TempoTunes save the playlists it builds directly to your Spotify library.
How do I find the BPM of my own song?
Use the free BPM analyzer — upload an audio file and it detects the tempo right in your browser. No account needed.
I didn't get my confirmation or password reset email.
Check your spam or junk folder first — the email comes from our sign-in provider. On the sign-in screen you can request a fresh confirmation link or password reset at any time with the Resend / Forgot password options.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and its data at any time — either from the Profile tab inside the app, or by following the steps on our account deletion page.
How is my data handled?
We collect only what the app needs to work, we don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising. The full details are in our privacy policy.
